Leicester UCU and its members will be on strike for 5 days, 21-25 March.
This is in defence of the four fights (working conditions, equality pay gaps, pay increases and casualisation), and to defend members’ USS pensions.

This action follows strikes at the beginning of December 2021, and earlier in February and March, during which the branch received overwhelming support for from our students, local councillors and MPs, as well as members of the local community.
The latest round of strikes are again overwhelmingly supported by the National Union of Students, with 73% supporting University staff partaking in industrial action – full text here.
We call on all members Leicester UCU members to strike.
